Your Practitioners at Sydney Natural Fertility

Meet Kim, Doctor of Chinese Medicine

20 years ago, Kim embarked on a journey that led her to the honourable role of helping women conceive. When she finished her Bachelor of Applied Science (Traditional Chinese Medicine) in 2006, she immediately started being sought out by patients for help with conception. To honour how important that role is, Kim began studying everything she could about fertility from a Chinese Medicine perspective. Unable to stop there, Kim enrolled in a Master of Reproductive Medicine to further her understanding of allopathic medicine for reproduction. By having a strong grasp on both viewpoints, Kim is in a unique position to help her patients on their fertility journey. Outside of work, Kim enjoys gardening, living a low-tox life, and annoying her friends with endless photos of her baby, Blaze, and her cat, Petey. If you would like to read about Kim’s own personal fertility journey, you can do so here.

Meet Lisa, Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Occupational Therapist.

Lisa graduated from Sydney Institute of TCM with a Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is thrilled to support you on your fertility or health journey.

Lisa has always been interested in health and helping people and has a caring, practical and open nature. She graduated from the University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) and has worked for 16 years as an Occupational Therapist in a variety of Sydney and London hospitals, thus bringing with her a strong knowledge of Western medical conditions, critical thinking and proficient communication.

Lisa has a passion for combining her Chinese medicine knowledge with her Western medical knowledge to help provide clients with the best possible treatment outcomes. Lisa has a firm interest in women’s health and helping women to conceive; this combined with her own personal fertility journey has brought her to Sydney Natural Fertility where Kim has mentored and trained her.

Why Choose Us

There are lots of options to manage your fertility, but here’s why we’re special.

At Sydney Natural Fertility, our focus is on using natural options to boost your fertility potential. The clinics are set up for total privacy and relaxation during your appointment. We have been helping couples (and singles!) conceive for 16 years. Every year we complete further training in reproductive health to stay ahead of the curve. We maintain good relationships with nearby IVF doctors so that you can use our services whether you are trying naturally or utilising Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). Kim has completed a Master of Reproductive Medicine with Excellence (top honours for that degree), which is the same qualification many IVF doctors have. Lisa has years of experience treating patients in a hospital setting, adding to her compassionate approach.  It is our mission to hep you through your journey with care.

Kim features in the TV commercial advertising how to spot Australia’s most qualified Chinese medicine practitioners.

Kim was offered the opportunity to represent her profession by featuring in a CSA (community service announcement) TV commercial in 2019 (and a second commercial in 2020!). The commercial was created by the leading governing body of acupuncturists and Chinese medicine practitioners, AACMA (Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association). The campaign is designed to help the Australian public know how to make sure they are seeing a highly qualified practitioner with a 4 year degree. All AACMA members are qualified to the highest industry standards, and are registered members of AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency). Can you spot Kim in 5 scenes?
